Main Aims / Objectives
Develop improved EO algorithms to identify locations, amounts, and the type of gas emissions released through venting in the off-shore oil & gas industry.

Main Services

Systematic mapping & monitoring of off-shore gas emissions. Gas flares represent a major environmental issue (e.g. waste of energy, emissions of greenhouse gases, air pollution).

The anticipated outcome is a system able to monitor gas flares with an acceptable level of accuracy, and temporal and spatial resolution fitting to the client’s needs.
