Forest Resources Management in Liberia
In the context of its Liberia Forestry Program the World Bank is supporting the government of Liberia in implementing and monitoring sustainable community forestry.
The activities have been guided by the international Liberia Forest Initiative since 2004. Two major outputs are foreseen from this project: independent and transparent forest mapping and support of land-use planning for sustainable forest management. |
