Main aims / objectives

Demonstrate capabilities of VHR optical data to support different phases of the support activity related to protection of children in areas of conflict. This includes:

• Provision of timely geographic information to support optimal site selection for new villages and settlements
• Conduct regular assessments on the progress of construction of new housing projects.

Monitor the situation of housing projects in areas affected by renewed or extended conflict.
