Main aims / objectives

Demonstration of capabilities of VHR optical data and SAR imagery to:

  • identify and characterise areas affected by agent orange spraying and support planning for mitigation activities
  • demonstrate fusion of EO based change mapping and historic military information to identify and more precisely characterise levels of unexploded ordnance and remnants of war.
In addition, an exercise to verify the capability to detect illicit mining will also be conducted for this area.
