River Basin Flood Management in Indonesia

The ADB activity "Flood Management in Selected River Basins Project” will support the Government of Indonesia to better manage and mitigate flood risks. Several river basins have been considered as priority by the government and will constitute the scope of the EO project too: Ciujung and Cidurian in Banten Province and Ambon/Seram in Maluku Province. The EO-based information includes land cover and land use classifications and a high-resolution Digital Elevation Model. The information will be used to prepare flood risks management plans and two-dimensional flood plain hydrodynamic models to support the integrated flood management.
