OUR ACTIVITIES

The ESA Value Adding Element (VAE) builds on its precursor (EOMD, Earth Observation Market Development, 2001–2008), the mission of which was to to foster the emergence of a European downstream industry offering EO-based services, with the prospect of becoming sustainable, to public and private customers on the global market. VAE was created to further strengthen the competitive position of the European and Canadian value adding sector for both small companies and institutional suppliers of marketable EO services.
