Forest Health Monitoring

The activity brings about a new perspective to forest health by incorporating (into consolidated products) high spatial and temporal Sentinel-2 with Sentinel-1 data, and historical third-party datasets (i.e. RapidEye, Landsat, MERIS, and MODIS). The EO products focus on the detection of trees and stands damaged by biotic agents and support the validation of clearing activities in the wake of containment and eradication efforts.
